Lilac Vine
Hardenbergia violacea
The Lilac vine is a fast growing twining evergreen vine that provuces Winter Color in Arizona desert gardens.  The lilac vine and handle full sun to partial shade, grow 15′ tall x 10′wide.  It produces purple cluster flowers winter to spring.  It has low litter, no thorns, and needs well draineds soil.

 

Primrose Jasmine – Jasminum mesnyi

The Primrose jasmine is a fast growing sprawling evergreen.  It grows to 10′ high by 6′ wide and produces yellow flowers late winter to spring.  The Primrose jasmine has low litter, no thorns, moderate water needs, and can full sun to partial shade but will do better in afternoon shade. The Primrose Jasmine is a great informal screen or to add height and color to a yard or wall.  It does need something to climb on.

Lavender Star Flower

Lavender Star Flower -Grewia Occidentalis

the Lavender Star Flower is a fast growing evergreen vine, that can take full sun to partial shade.  It is drought tolerant.  The Lavender Star Flower has star shaped lavender flowers most of the year and is hardy to 28 degrees.  It can also be used as a ground cover or shrub.  It will grow up to 10′ x 10′.

Miniature Red Rose Vine

Miniature Red Rose Vine – Rosa Miniature

The mini red rose vine is a fast growing evergreen vine that can tolerate full sun but does better in afternoon shade.  The mini red rose vine produces little mini red roses most of the year.  It needs help growing up a trellis or wall as it does not grab.  It grows to 15’x20′ and can be grown as a shrub or ground cover.  It is hardy to 25 degrees.
