Our customer in the Morning Sun Farms neighborhood in Queen Creek, AZ wanted a desert yard remodel for both their front and back yard landscape that would be desert friendly and low maintenance. We started with redoing the front yard from the basic builder supplied yard. We added depth to the yard with mounding and a meandering riverbed with boulders and water wise plants. We also installed a paver patio over the existing concrete entry way and extended a walkway to the street. We put in paver ribbons on both sides of the driveway to extend the width of the driveway. The pavers were Sierra Blend Pavestone in 3 pc. random pattern. We trim our pavers in a square border mortared in as standard part of our installation. You won’t see jagged edges or small cuts on the edges. The backyard was a dirt lot still. We installed a large paver patio that went over the existing patio and extended out to cover almost the entire back yard. This provided a perfect place for the kids to ride bikes in the back yard. We put in corner planters in both sides and installed a raised garden on the far side of the house for herbs and vegetables.
